About

Casa Serena is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 147 Oliver Road in Santa Barbara, California. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Casa Serena. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Casa Serena.

If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Casa Serena, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.

The staff members at Casa Serena have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Casa Serena. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.

Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Casa Serena can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Getting treatment is the best option when seeking a life that is free of substance abuse. Get the help required now and start living the best life possible. Contact Casa Serena by visiting www.casaserena.org now.

Casa Serena is an amazing rehab. It taught me Honesty, Love, Kindness, Tolerance and Love. I'm great full for all the staff and sisters. Also, the tools I've learn have help me grow and find myself again.

I have been to a lot of rehabs, iop treatments and sober livings...also a lot of court mandated programs. With these treatment programs, some were forced and some were voluntary. I have never experienced the kind of love, support and care anywhere like I have at Casa. I have never experienced hope for myself and recovering until I went to Casa. It literally saved my life because the staff that work there taught me how to cope with life on life's terms, and the bonds formed there with the women was like nowhere else I'd ever been. The support and sisterhood is truly life changing.

I walked shamefully up the stairs to Casa Serena in 1992 and was only going to stay for 30 days because I was so terrified and unsure of myself. I ended up staying for the entire program which is 90 days at the Main House and continued for up to a whole year at the Graduate House! I am eternally grateful for this amazing home and program that both saved and changed my life! I have continued to participate in meetings there and do what they taught me in the first 90 days....make my bed first thing in the morning to create manageability in my life, continue allowing support in my life and be of service to the new women! I proudly state that I am a Casa Serena Sister and have witnessed the program grow and flourish over the years treating countless women and there families. Thank you Casa Serena for the on-going support in your aftercare groups and events that allow me to stay connected and continue to grow. Casa Serena and the entire staff are amazing and are the best ever!

Casa Serena has stood the test of time, as they’ve been working with women in recovery for 60+ years. Because they are a not-for-profit recovery home, they are able to make decisions that are in the best interest of their clients rather than a corporation. They have the highest ethical standards and provide the full range of professional services. As a local healthcare professional, I feel comfortable recommending their services without reservation.

I was referred to Casa Serena by my CWS social worker and can not begin to tell you how much this program has changed my life!!! I have struggled with my addiction for 22 years and after graduating this program I finally feel like I have a real chance at life. I have an amazing relationship with my daughter and my family now and I will get custody back in July. If I had not made the decision to enter Casa Serena in January I would definitely be dead by now. Not only am I alive, I am happier than I have ever been and I just got back from spending 3 days in Disneyland with my daughter!!! Life is better than I ever even dreamed it could be and it's all because of this program. Casa Serena gives hope to the hopeless and the staff there loves you and believes in you until you are able to love and believe in yourself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH DRUG/ALCOHOL ADDICTION!!!!!!

I entered Casa Serena in Jan. 2015 and now have 2 yrs 4 mo clean and sober. During my 25 year battle with drugs and alcohol I went through many programs. Casa Serena was the first place that treated the whole disease, mind, body, and spirit The house is beautiful and the staff is friendly and caring. I went to Oliver house and began learning how to be a mother again with the help of the other mom's. Casa Serena helped save my life and give my kids their mom back.
